David Garcia
DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY
Hailing from New Jersey, David Garcia has been in the business of film production for over six years. Before he found his way into film, he had a tumultuous youth which led him into Gloucester County College (GCC). There he studied liberal arts, photography, and computer graphic design. At Temple University David was taken under the wing of cinematography professor and Guggenheim Fellowship recipient Dave Parry. During his senior year David also became a student assistant to Dave Parry, training cinematography students in using camera and lighting equipment. He also spent several semesters at Temple studying philosophy, sociology, and visual culture, and it was during this time that his current interest in politics, humanitarian issues, and screenwriting was kindled.

David currently freelances throughout New Jersey, and has clients based in Los Angeles, New York City, and Philadelphia. He shoots with 35mm film, Red One, Arri Alexa, and DSLR formats. His resume includes feature films, music videos, and commercials, and his clients range from Honeywell to the Steadicam Operators Association.
